Fire Emblem Engage

A tactical role-playing game called Fire Emblem Engage was created by the developers known as Intelligent Systems and the game was released by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch series. The Fire Emblem game was initially launched on January 20, 2023, with a new chapter. Critics gave Fire Emblem Engage largely favourable reviews, praising the gameplay improvements, score, and aesthetics but feeling that the story and social sim components were lacking in comparison to Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Fire Emblem Engage Tier List

Fire Emblem S-Tier Units Engage

Naturally, the finest damage-dealing and utility-based heroes in Fire Emblem Engage can be found in S-Tier. Diamant can use Wrath and Hold Out+++ in his unique Class Successeur to transform into a high-damage/high-survival unit that can tank through most adversaries. High-mobility units Hortensia and Ivy provide some of the strongest support and magic damage throughout a significant portion of the map. Kagetsu is a unit with great damage, fast speed, excellent growth, and the ability to attack twice thanks to that speed. The most important setup unit in the game is Seadall since he allows other units to attack twice. He can even heal with his Curious Dance ability. Alear and Veyle, too? being dragons. They also possess the stats and skills.

Fire Emblem's A-Tier Units Engage

The range of A-Tier has a theme to it. Due to their tremendous competence with bows, Fogado and Alcryst are units that can attack and deal terrible damage from a distance. As Calvary troops, Alfred, Chloe, and Mauvier all have excellent movement. As Mage Knights or through the range their Tomes can strike as Sages, Lindon and Anna are both likewise both capable of considerable movement or range. Zelkov, too? Doesn't require a promotion and, once you're in the mid- to late-game, automatically fills the void left by Yunaka.

B-Tier Fire Emblem Units Engage

B-Tier units typically outperform their more optimised counterparts while being more distinctive. Ivy outperforms Celine, Goldmary by a large number of units, and Jade and Lapis are inferior to Diamant. And as much as it hurts me, Merrin just doesn't have the same versatility as Swordmaster Kagetsu or Cupido Foagdo.

In Fire Emblem, C-Tier Units Engage

We meet a few characters at the beginning of each Fire Emblem game who are only there to get us through the first few chapters before being permanently benched. These characters are Clanne, Framme, and Etie in Fire Emblem Engage. Unfortunately, they don't expand as quickly as other units that we get later in the game. The rest of the plot is comparable to B-Tier. Many of them simply cannot keep up with troops with superior stats. Why choose Citrinne when you may have Sage Anna or Lindwurm Ivy? Why use Etie when Tireur d'elite Alcryst is available? Panette should also be promoted to Wolf Knight, but as we've seen with Merrin, Wolf Knights aren't always the ideal choice.

Plot Of Fire Emblem Engage

The gameplay is similar to that of earlier games in the series, but Emblem Rings have been added, enabling units to engage in combat alongside the lords from earlier Fire Emblem titles. The series' past heroes are present in Engage as spirits known as "Emblems," who may be called forth by wearing an emblem ring. Engage is situated on the continent of Elyos. The divine dragon Alear is awakened from a millennium-long nap in order to collect the scattered Emblem Rings and fight the Fell Dragon Sombron.

Release Of Fire Emblem Engage

Initially, the game was teased in a Nintendo Direct from September 13, 2022. The game will also be available as a "Divine Edition" that comes with an artbook, poster, steelbook case, and art cards featuring past heroes that can be called upon with Emblem Rings, such as Marth from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light and Celica from Fire Emblem Gaiden. A story trailer was released on November 16 and included information about a dark Marth and Alear's commitment to their deceased mother. The next week, Nintendo posted a gameplay trailer featuring additional returning series heroes as well as brand-new characters.
