Fire Punch Ending Explained

Fire Punch Ending Analysis, In the village, Sun rises to a revered position among the followers of Agni's religion, known as Agnism. Despite being aware of Agni's hidden existence at the salt mine, Sun chooses to let him be. However, everything changes when Sun discovers that Luna, the person Agni is living with, is actually Judah, who was responsible for terrible acts in Behemdorg.

Sun, under the influence of the Ice Witch, orders Luna's capture, as the Ice Witch seeks to complete a ritual involving a tree. When Luna is captured, Sun plans to burn her alive and even executes the Ice Witch when she objects. In response, Agni willingly sets himself on fire once again, unleashing his alter ego known as 'Fire Punch.' His sole objective is to save Luna and confront the Agnists.

Sun is overjoyed to see Agni, although Agni has no recollection of him whatsoever. A fierce battle ensues between the two, resulting in Sun's death by fire. Luna, who has regained some of her memories, damages half of Agni's brain, causing him to regenerate without any recollection, just as Luna had done before. She entrusts the amnesiac Agni, now renamed Sun, to the care of Nenetto. Luna herself proceeds with the tree ritual to thaw the frozen planet.

Eighty years later, a small community thrives in a warm and fertile land surrounding Luna's towering tree, which extends into the cosmos, drawing energy from distant planets. Sun, now known as Sun, spends his days in an empty cinema, even though there are no films to watch. He is called to Nenetto's bedside as she approaches death.

Nenetto's subordinate presents Sun with a pill that would allow him to die without regeneration, cautioning him that the surviving humans on Earth possess weapons capable of exterminating all remaining life. They also provide Togata's camera, although the recorded footage lacks sound and is entirely black and white. Sun watches the footage of his previous life as Agni, although he does not recognize the people or events, he clenches his fist as he watches.

Hundreds of years pass, and Luna remains within the vast expanse of the tree as its branches stretch toward distant stars. Millennia go by, and Luna wonders if she will remain trapped there forever. She witnesses the Earth below being devastated by an asteroid. Millions of years later, when the universe has become lifeless, Sun joins Luna in the tree. Although they have no memory of each other, they embrace and drift into a deep slumber.

Fire Punch Plot Explained

Fire Punch Story Explained, In the frozen and desolate world of Fire Punch, the Earth has been transformed into an icy wasteland believed to be the result of the Ice Witch's actions. Only a select few individuals possess unique powers called "blessings." Among them is the protagonist, Agni, and his sister Luna, both blessed with the ability to regenerate their bodies.

Struggling to survive, Agni and Luna help sustain the village by offering their own severed arms as a source of nourishment. Their lives take a dramatic turn when a blessed individual named Doma arrives and offers Agni an opportunity to join him in the city of Behemdorg. However, disgusted by the village's cannibalistic practices, Doma unleashes his uncontrollable flames, immolating the villagers and ultimately killing Luna.

In her final moments, Luna implores Agni to keep living. Left constantly aflame, Agni endures excruciating pain as his body repeatedly disintegrates and regenerates. Over the course of eight years, he gains control over his fiery nature and vows to seek revenge against Doma. Agni encounters a convoy of slaves headed to Behemdorg and intervenes by killing the soldiers.

A young boy named Sun, who views Agni as a god due to his powers, becomes fascinated and follows him. However, more soldiers discover Agni's whereabouts, and Judah, a blessed resembling Luna, beheads him. Agni is captured and taken to Behemdorg, while Sun is forced to generate electricity for the city. Doma, remorseful for his actions, asks Agni for forgiveness but denies him the opportunity to kill him.
