Five Nights at Freddy Ending Explained

In the ending of "Five Nights at Freddy's," Vanessa reveals that the Yellow Rabbit is her father, William Afton, who is also the one who kidnapped and killed Mike's brother, Garrett. The shocking twist comes when William removes his helmet, unveiling himself as Mike's career counsellor, Steve Raglan, played by Matthew Lillard, known for his role in "Scream."

Before Mike, Vanessa, and Abby can confront the Yellow Rabbit, they must first deal with the other animatronic creatures that threaten Abby's life. Armed with tasers and cattle prods, Mike manages to incapacitate the other robots and save Abby from a grim fate. Finally, the Yellow Rabbit emerges from hiding.

Vanessa, in a bid to protect Mike and Abby, shoots her father, the Yellow Rabbit, but not without consequences. He retaliates by stabbing her in the back. Abby, in a poignant moment, draws a picture explaining the Yellow Rabbit's true identity to the ghost children who didn't know he was their kidnapper. In a chilling turn of events, the animatronic creatures turn against the Yellow Rabbit, subjecting him to a torturous fate in his own suit before dragging him away.

The movie concludes with Abby returning to school and seemingly thriving, making new friends and enjoying better meals at home. Mike appears to be doing a better job taking care of Abby. He also pays a visit to Vanessa, who is alive but in a coma, hinting at a possible unresolved storyline.

In the final scene, the creatures lock the Yellow Rabbit in a room within the building, where he cries out in pain. This ominous conclusion suggests that the menacing villain may not have met his final fate, leaving the door open for potential future developments and sequels in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.

Five Nights at Freddy Plot

The movie "Five Nights at Freddy's" follows a story that fans of the game series will recognize. It all starts with five kids disappearing in the 1980s while they were at Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria, which led to the place closing down.

Now, we meet Mike Schmidt . He needs a new job because he lost his old security job. He has to look after his little sister, Abby, because his Aunt Jane is trying to take Abby away from him legally.

Mike talks to a "careers expert" named Steve Raglan and asks for a new job. Raglan offers him a job as a nighttime security guard at the empty pizzeria, but it doesn't pay very well. Just like in the game, on Mike's first night, we learn more about his past. He falls asleep on the job and has a dream about his brother Garrett who was kidnapped while camping with their family.

In the dream, he meets five other kids who try to hurt him. Later, we find out that these kids are the spirits trapped inside the animatronics. The first night isn't as exciting as the game.

On the second night, Vanessa shows up and explains some of the pizzeria's history to Mike. We find out that the kids who disappeared in the 1980s are the same ones who tried to hurt Mike in his dream. And when they hurt him in the dream, it actually hurts him in real life. Mike starts to realise that something very wrong is happening.

While Mike is working at the pizzeria, his Aunt Jane tries to mess up his security job. She sends Abby's babysitter Max and her brother to vandalise the place. Carl and Uncle Hank join them. But as soon as they enter the pizzeria, the animatronics quickly take them out one by one. It's a very intense and scary situation for everyone involved.
