For Honor allows players to assume the roles of historical warriors such as knights, samurai, and vikings, controlling them from a third-person perspective.

The event featured cosmetic items inspired by Dead by Daylight and introduced the AI-controlled enemy character, the Trapper, from the original game.

Tier S For Honor Heroes: These heroes are considered the strongest in the game at the moment. They possess powerful abilities and movesets that become even more formidable as you unlock additional Feats. If you're looking for easy victories, choosing one of these heroes is recommended.

Tier A For Honor Heroes: These characters are also quite strong, although they fall slightly behind the S-tier heroes due to factors like lower stats or one ability that may not be as exceptional. Nonetheless, they are formidable fighters in their own right.

Tier B For Honor Heroes: These heroes are decent options in For Honor, but they aren't as powerful as those in higher tiers. However, if played strategically and selected to counter specific enemy heroes, they can still be quite deadly.

Tier C For Honor Heroes: These characters are considered average in terms of power and abilities. They may not be outstanding, but they are also not the worst options available. They occupy a middle-of-the-road position in our For Honor tier list.

Tier D For Honor Heroes: These heroes are below average in terms of overall effectiveness. For Honor Gameplay

For Honor is an action game that takes place in a medieval fantasy setting. The game features five factions: the Iron Legion (Knights), the Warborn (Vikings), the Dawn Empire (Samurai), the Wu Lin (Ancient Chinese), and the Outlander faction (added in January 2022) consisting of the Pirate, the Medjay, and the Afeera. Each faction has its own unique characters representing different warrior classes.

The Vanguard class is well-balanced, excelling in offense and defense. The Assassin class is fast and skilled in one-on-one combat but lacks damage output against multiple enemies. The Heavies, also known as Tanks, have high durability and are suited for holding capture points, although their attacks are slower. The Hybrid class combines aspects of two different classes and possesses unique abilities.

All heroes in For Honor have distinct weapons, skills, and fighting styles. Players engage in melee combat using their character's specific weaponry. By performing certain actions, such as consecutive kills, players can unlock Feats, which grant additional perks such as increased points, offensive support like arrow barrages or catapult strikes, or self-healing abilities. AI minions often accompany players in most missions, but they pose little threat compared to player characters.

The game features a tactical combat system called "Art of Battle" when engaging in multiplayer battles against other players or player-like AI in the campaign. In this mode, players enter dueling scenarios where they can choose from three different attack directions (from above, right, or left) based on on-screen hints and opponent movements.

Players can block their opponents' attacks by selecting the correct position to defend from. Each character also possesses unique special abilities, such as shoulder barges and evasive maneuvers. Players can also adjust the strength of their attacks, adding a sense of weight to their weapon strikes. The goal is to create an immersive combat experience that allows players to feel connected to the weight and impact of their chosen weapon
