Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Server Status

The official launch of Fortnite's Chapter 5: Season 2 was delayed for longer because of maintenance that lasted several hours. After 9 PM ET, players claimed to be able to download updates, but many also reported facing difficulties while trying to play, including queues and errors.

The Fortnite Status account reported having issues with matching, buying things, and islands. But according to the Epic Games status website, all systems were up and running following the update maintenance window. The game is gradually returning online as of March 8th, 11:03 PM ET, while ongoing issues still exist. Though the planned maintenance was declared over at 03:01 UTC, gamers are still seeing difficulties while the developers attempt to fix any remaining problems.
