Gotham Knights Walkthrough Guide

Gotham City has been plunged into the darkness since Batman's death. Without the Dark Knight to protect the city, the people of Gotham are left vulnerable to the many dangers lurking in the shadows. But hope is not lost, as the Gotham Knights emerge from the ashes of their mentor's legacy to carry on his work.

The Gotham Knights are a team of heroes comprising Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin. They are tasked with investigating Batman's death and keeping the citizens of Gotham safe. Each member of the team brings their unique skills and abilities to the table, and together, they are a force to be reckoned with.

The game is divided into eight chapters, each with its own set of challenges and villains to defeat. The first chapter, "Batman's Last Case," sets the tone for the rest of the game. The Gotham Knights must uncover the truth behind Batman's death, and in doing so, they must confront some of the city's most dangerous criminals.

As the story progresses, the team is drawn deeper into the dark underbelly of Gotham City. In chapter two, "The Rabbit Hole," they investigate a new drug that is wreaking havoc on the streets. In chapter three, "In the Shadows," they must navigate the treacherous world of organized crime to uncover a conspiracy that threatens to tear the city apart.

Chapter four, "The Masquerade," sees the team going up against the Court of Owls, a secret society that has been manipulating Gotham's power structures for centuries. In chapter five, the team must face off against the Court's leader, the Grandmaster, in a battle that will test their skills and their resolve.

Chapter six, "Jacob Kane," sees the team confronting one of their own as they uncover a dark secret from their past. In chapter seven, "The League of Shadows," they must take on the League's assassins and their leader, Ra's al Ghul. And in the final chapter, "Head of the Demon," they face their greatest challenge yet as they confront the Demon's Head himself.

Throughout the game, the Gotham Knights must work together to overcome their enemies and uphold Batman's legacy. Each member of the team has their own unique playstyle and abilities, allowing players to choose their preferred hero for each mission.

Gotham Knights Tips and Tricks

1. General Tips

Before diving into character-specific tips, there are some general tips to keep in mind. Firstly, all characters level up at the same time, so you don’t need to earn skill points for each Knight individually. However, the Knighthood challenges need to be done individually to unlock new skill trees and make traversal easier. Additionally, you can change characters in the Belfry whenever you aren't out on patrol at night.

2. Robin Tips

Robin is a master of stealth, and his Smoke bombs are his best friend. Use them to quickly re-enter stealth if you get caught by enemies. Moreover, Robin is the only Knight who can perform stealth takedowns on large enemies. Unlock the Turnabout Takedown skill in his Shadow skill tree to make use of this ability.

3. Batgirl Tips

Batgirl is the tank of the group and has the best survivability thanks to health boosts and self-revives. Use her if you find yourself taking too many hits in combat. Additionally, Batgirl can dish out plenty of single-target damage with critical chance and damage multipliers in her Justice skill tree.

4. Nightwing Tips

Nightwing is agile and nimble, and his focus is on evasion. Jump from enemy to enemy to avoid getting hit, and get the Extra Momentum skill in his Acrobat skill tree to give him a second Momentum bar that’ll fill up quickly thanks to his dodge capabilities.

5. Red Hood Tips

Red Hood specializes in ranged combat, but he also has the best grab moves of all the Knights. Use normal gunshots from a distance, then move in to grab enemies once their health drops below the grab threshold. The Extended Grab Window skill in the Brawler skill tree brings the grab threshold up to 50%, allowing for more grabs, which is especially useful for interrogations.

Gotham Knights Wiki

Gotham Knights is a highly anticipated action role-playing game that was developed by WB Games Montréal and published by Warner Bros. Games. The game is based on the DC Comics character Batman and his supporting cast, as depicted in the Batman: Gotham Knights comic series. Set in the aftermath of Batman's death, the game follows the characters Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood as they attempt to restore justice to Gotham City during a period of decline.

In the game, the heroes investigate the events that led to Batman's demise, which leads them to become embroiled in an ancient conflict between two secret organizations fighting for control of Gotham: the Court of Owls and the League of Shadows. The game's plot is a unique twist on the traditional Batman story, as the focus shifts from the Caped Crusader to his protégés.

Players are able to choose one of four playable characters, each with their own unique abilities and play styles. Nightwing, for instance, is a skilled acrobat who excels at hand-to-hand combat and can use his grappling hook to move around the city. Batgirl, on the other hand, is a computer expert who can hack into security systems and use her baton to take down enemies. Robin is a master of stealth who can blend into shadows and use his staff to deliver devastating blows, while Red Hood is a deadly marksman who can take out foes from a distance with his guns.

The game is set in an open-world Gotham City, which players are free to explore at their leisure. The city is filled with a variety of missions and activities, ranging from rescuing civilians to taking down notorious criminals. Players can also customize their characters with a wide range of costumes and equipment, allowing them to tailor their play style to their preferences.

Gotham Knights Gameplay

Gotham Knights is an upcoming action role-playing game set in an open-world Gotham City, developed by WB Games Montréal and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game is scheduled to be released in 2022 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

In Gotham Knights, players will take control of four playable characters: Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood. Each character has their own unique playstyle and abilities, which players will need to master in order to progress through the game's main story missions and side quests. For example, Robin has the ability to teleport via the Justice League's satellite, allowing him to quickly move around the city and surprise enemies.

Players can level up their characters by earning experience points through combat and completing missions. However, enemies in the game will also level up automatically to match the player's character level, ensuring a consistent level of challenge throughout the game.

One of the key features of Gotham Knights is the ability to use vehicles to explore the city. Players will be able to use the Batcycle to traverse the streets of Gotham and quickly move from one location to another.

During the daytime, players will occupy the Belfry, which acts as the team's base of operations. Here, players can switch between characters and manage their progression, selecting new abilities and upgrades for each character. Additionally, the Belfry provides players with a place to prepare for the next mission and gather information about the city's many villains.

Once players leave the Belfry and enter the city, the game will fast forward to the nighttime, where they will face off against Gotham's most dangerous criminals. The open-world environment allows for a non-linear gameplay experience, with players able to choose which missions they tackle and in what order.

Gotham Knights Review

When the trailer for Gotham Knights was released, many gamers were excited to see what the new co-op-centric game would offer. As a follow-up to Rocksteady's highly successful Batman: Arkham games, Gotham Knights had all the makings of a hit, with updated graphics and gameplay for the current generation of consoles. However, after playing the game for 30 hours, it became clear that the game fell short of expectations.

The combat system was underwhelming, lacking the punch and fluidity that made the Batman: Arkham games so satisfying. The story was predictable and weak, failing to capture the intensity and excitement of the previous games. Additionally, the progression design choices were puzzling, leaving players feeling lost and confused about what to do next.

To make matters worse, Gotham Knights suffered from sub-30 frame rates, making the game feel choppy and unresponsive at times. While the open-world Gotham sandbox was impressive, these issues detracted from the overall experience and left players wondering how the game went so wrong.

Despite these flaws, there were some good parts that managed to shine through. Fans of the Bat family will appreciate the opportunity to play as different characters, each with their unique abilities and personalities. The open-world Gotham sandbox was impressive, providing a vast and immersive environment for players to explore.
