Granblue Fantasy Relink Damascus Ingot
Granblue Fantasy: Relink features a valuable crafting item known as the Damascus Ingot. This special item is highly sought after for leveling up weapons with ease, as it allows players to skip the usual process involving various Blacksmith ingredients. Getting a Damascus Ingot, however, can be a bit challenging.
One way to obtain Damascus Ingots is by defeating a rare and random enemy called the Prismatic Slime. These slimes appear in maps with other Slime monsters, and upon defeating them, they reliably drop three Damascus Ingots. Players usually receive these ingots after completing the quest they are engaged in.
To increase the chances of encountering a Prismatic Slime, players can try quests like "Assault Formation" on Extreme difficulty or "Slimepede" on Maniac difficulty. Prismatic Slimes are easily distinguishable by their rainbow color, and players need to act quickly to defeat them before they escape with the loot.
If the Prismatic Slime proves elusive, there is an alternative method to obtain Damascus Ingots. Players can visit Siero's Knickknack Shop and trade 20 Gold Dalia Badges for one Damascus Ingot. This option becomes available once Maniac difficulty quests are unlocked.
To initiate the trade, players should talk to Siero, choose the "Trade Dalia Badges" option, and then switch to the Gold Dalia Badge tab. The Damascus Ingots can be found at the top of the list, offering players a somewhat grindy but reliable way to acquire this valuable crafting item.
Use of Damascus Ingot in Granblue Fantasy Relink
In Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Damascus Ingots play a crucial role in upgrading weapons efficiently. Once you have a Damascus Ingot in your possession, head over to the Blacksmith and select the "Upgrade Weapons" option. From there, choose the specific weapon you wish to enhance further.
When you've picked your weapon, you'll notice a yellow box indicating "Use Damascus Ingot" over the ingredient list. Click on this option, and your weapon's level cap will increase without the need for any additional materials. It's a handy way to skip the usual ingredient requirements for weapon enhancement.
It's important to keep in mind that using one Damascus Ingot will only raise the level cap of your weapon once. For example, if your weapon is at level 100, using a Damascus Ingot will increase it to level 125, not 150. It's advisable to save your Damascus Ingots for the more challenging upgrades, particularly for taking your weapon from level 125 to the maximum level of 150.

Initially revealed for PlayStation 4 in September 2016 with a planned release in 2018, the game was set in the same fictional world as the original Granblue Fantasy but explored a different location, with familiar characters making appearances. In December 2018, the official title was unveiled as Granblue Fantasy: Relink. However, by February 2019, PlatinumGames stepped back from the project, and Cygames took over full development responsibilities.
