Granblue Fantasy is a role-playing video game featuring turn-based combat. In the game, you'll find summons and a class system that can modify the main character's abilities and growth. Characters level up and gain new skills by accumulating experience points. Additionally, specific materials can be collected to enable characters to achieve a higher star rating, referred to as "FLB" or full limit break. Equipping characters with summons and weapons provides them with bonuses to their attack power and HP.
Characters in Granblue Fantasy are acquired through various means, such as main story quests, special event quests, or by using in-game currency to obtain random crystal fragments, which may include unique weapons adding specific characters to your party.
These characters, summons, and weapons are categorized as SSR, SR, R, or N, each associated with one of six elements: wind, water, fire, earth, light, or darkness. Using the element that's advantageous against your opponent in battle, such as water against fire, yields benefits and increases your team's damage output. Some levels even penalize players for not using the advantageous element.

Granblue Fantasy Plot
In Act 1 of the game's storyline, "Girl in Blue," players assume the role of the Captain, with the option to be either Gran or Djeeta. Alongside their winged companion Vyrn, they find themselves in the peaceful town of Zinkenstill. However, their tranquility is disrupted by the appearance of an Erste Empire airship in the vicinity.
The Captain's inadvertent rescue of a girl named Lyria and Imperial Officer Katalina from the Empire leads to a dire confrontation in which the Captain is gravely wounded. In a desperate attempt to save them, Lyria merges her soul with the Captain, and her extraordinary powers summon the formidable Proto-Bahamut, driving off the Empire's forces.
With their fates intertwined, the trio embarks on a journey to the mysterious island of Estalucia, hoping to escape the Empire and uncover the Captain's estranged father's secrets. Their journey leads them to the Port Breeze Archipelago, but Katalina's piloting mishaps result in a crash landing.
They cross paths with Rackam, an eccentric helmsman with a non-functional airship. The Empire, relentless in its pursuit of Lyria, eventually catches up to them. After convincing Rackam to aid them, they fend off the Imperial soldiers and assist in repairing Rackam's airship, the Grandcypher, setting it on course for the skies.
In Act 2, "Dawning Sky," the crew faces various challenges, including thwarting Freesia's ambitions and collecting Skydom Map Pieces. The completed Phantagrande Skydom Map allows them to break through the Grim Basin's miasma. However, Loki's manipulation leads to the crew's separation, and they find themselves in the Nalhegrande Skydom, a kingdom that had been destroyed a decade earlier. Here, they encounter a young man named Cain on Melkmaar Island.
Act 3, "Wayfaring Astral," unfolds with the Grandcypher Crew preventing The True King from taking over the Nalhe Great Wall. During this tumultuous battle, the Main Character rescues Alliah and falls from the collapsing island. The crew embarks on a mission to chase down and reunite with the Main Character, taking players on a thrilling adventure through this fantasy world filled with mysterious characters and hidden histories.
