Gunfire Reborn is a popular roguelite first-person shooter video game. The Chinese studio Duoyi Games developed it. This game was released in November 2021 for Microsoft Windows. It was followed by mobile ports in May 2022, and was released on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in October 2022. - Players will not become frozen in the Golem fight hereafter.
- Fixed a problem where the Player can be placed in a non-working lobby.
- Fixed an issue where a few Players could not invite each other.
- Fixed an issue where input halted reacting after using an arrow on the D-pad when browsing Spiritual Blessings.
- Fixed a transition problem during the opening cutscene.
- Try to fix a crash when unlocking specific Achievements after pausing the game.
- Changed key bindings for next/previous spectator to RB/LB, letting teammate screen under Right Arrow binding be displayed after Player’s death.
- Default setting has been changed to Open Mic from push to talk.
- Fixed an issue where the player could not change Reincarnation difficulty levels with LB/RB after the lobby was created with a difficulty already set.
- Fixed an issue where the hero model vanished after a quick reentry to the Switch Hero menu.
- The framerate on consoles has been locked as follows: Xbox One 30/60 and Xbox Series X|S 60/120. We have also added a Framerate toggle to switch between these Low and High framerate caps.
- Fixed an issue where Foundry adopted the recoil of the previously used weapon.
- Fixed an issue where some frames were displayed through the settings menu and the "joining to lobby/connecting to host" window.
- Fixed brightness changes not registering on certain levels.
- Fixed graphic corruptions are present in the Summary screen after a losing battle with Wind God.
- Fixed an issue where Players could not change the highlight between character slot 1 and slot 2 after being kicked from a 3+ player lobby.
- Fixed an issue with the voice chat icon displaying muted status with Headphones.
- Fixed an issue were comparing and buying a selected weapon in place of one of your old weapons from the Peddler, caused the shop menu to become non-functional.
- Waterfall SFX loop issue fixed.
- Adjusted minor Player Interface issues.
- Fixed an issue where the incorrect Player was shown when a client quit a multiplayer session.
- Addressed an issue where some textures were showing up corrupted.
- Added an info pop-up about needing to quit a single-player run to join a new game if the Player accepted a multiplayer invitation with their title when paused.
- Corrected diagonal movement of the virtual cursor by simplifying the response function and improving the dead zone.
- Optimization changes to reduce the number of hang-ups/hiccups that could be experienced during gameplay, especially on Xbox One consoles.

In the January 2023 update, a new mode [Bizarre Dream, and a new paid hero - [Li] are available. You can explore more combinations in [Spiritual Link] or you can challenge yourself in [Mysterious Jokul]. Considering the new mode could be challenging, it is only available in Reincarnation difficulties. Also, there are two new weapons - [Arc Light] and [Cloud Weaver], and an update for Justice also.

In the 7/22 patch notes update, some adjustments to the single play were made. For example, the chance to revive with Soul Essence was increased to 2 times. Also, the Soul Essence’s consumption is reduced. On the other hand, a new auto-saving option in the setting was added. When defeating the boss, the game will save automatically. In the future, the official website of Gunfire Reborn said that they would keep optimizing the game experience for single-play.
Is Gunfire Reborn Coming To Consoles?
Gunfire Studios released the game into early access on Windows via Steam, on May 22, 2020, then went into full release on November 18, 2021. The game was also released on iOS and Android devices in May 2022. Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game were released on October 27, 2022. Nintendo Switch and PlayStation ports are also in the works.
