Jam City developed and published Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, a role-playing video game, under license from Portkey Games. The game takes place in the Wizarding World and is based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter novels. The player character enters the world of Hogwarts before the events of the novels, and the game was released on Android and iOS devices on 25 April 2018. Many of the actors from the Harry Potter film series lent their voices to the game, but despite this star power, the game received generally negative reviews from critics.
