What Is Siri?
Apple Inc.'s iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS, tvOS, and audioOS operating systems all include the virtual assistant Siri. By directing requests to a variety of Internet services, it employs voice queries, gesture-based control, focus-tracking, and a natural-language user interface to respond to inquiries, offer advice, and carry out tasks. With prolonged use, it learns the unique language usages, searches, and preferences of users and returns results that are tailored to them.

Hey Siri Not Working
Make sure Siri is configured to hear and respond to your queries by checking a few settings on your iPhone.
Verify that "Hey Siri" is activated
- Access Settings.
- Toggle Siri & Search on.
- Make sure the following settings are activated from here:
- Watch out for "Hey Siri"
- When locked, allow Siri
Configure Siri to hear your voice
- Access Settings.
- Toggle Siri & Search on.
- Turn it off, wait for "Hey Siri," and then restart it.
- Tap Continue when the Set Up "Hey Siri" screen displays.
- Each command you see on your computer should be spoken.
- Click Done.
If Siri doesn't reply
- Access Settings.
- Toggle Siri & Search on.
- Click on Siri Responses.
- Even when Silent mode is activated, Siri will speak responses when you tap Prefer Spoken Responses.

How To Fix Hey Siri Not Working On iPhone?
Fix 1: Remove the earbuds or headphones
- On occasion, an audio device will not let go of your phone and will continue to play audio from across the room while listening for your voice.
- Check to see whether there is a Bluetooth or earphone sign in the Volume slider by swiping down from the top right of the screen to see the Control Center.
- If there is, Siri is most likely being sent via that gadget.
- To reconnect it, place it back in the docking station. Or manually mute the audio: Open the Settings app, select Bluetooth, then select Disconnect from the device list by tapping the I to the right of the headphones.
Fix 2: Ensure that "Hey Siri" is activated
- It's possible that "Hey Siri" isn't working. It's possible that you turned it off and then forgot to turn it back on.
- If necessary, re-enabling is simple to check.
- Select Siri & Search after opening the Settings app.

Fix 4: Ensure that the microphone is not obstructed
- If your phone's microphones aren't working properly, Siri may have trouble hearing and understanding you.
- Make sure that nothing, including a screen protector, dust, dirt, or lint, is blocking your microphone, such as an ill-fitting case.
- To make sure the microphone is functioning properly and isn't the source of any Siri issues, you may also test it.

Fix 5: Make Siri responsive even when your iPhone is lying flat
- Though Siri is ostensibly always on, you may not be aware that she is only "almost" always on.
- It won't reply to "Hey Siri" specifically if the screen is covered, for as when the phone is facedown on a countertop, inside your pocket, or is in a bag.
- You may instruct Siri to always reply, even if the screen is covered, if you'd like. Open the Settings application, select Siri, then select Accessibility.
- Swipe the button to the right in the Spoken Responses section to enable Always Listen for "Hey Siri."
Fix 6: Switch off your iPhone
- Still not functioning? Your iPhone's software issues can frequently be fixed by just turning it off and back on again.
- This will reset the memory and remove any potentially troublesome applications.
- Just reboot your iPhone, then check "Hey Siri" once more.
Fix 7: When you say "Hey Siri," the wrong gadget responds
- Start the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, select Bluetooth, and check that it is turned on by swiping the button to the right.
- Select System Preferences by clicking the Apple icon in the top left corner of a Mac.
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on by clicking it and checking the status. Click Turn Bluetooth On if it isn't already.
