What Are The Hogwarts Legacy Beasts?

Beasts are magical creatures. In the game Hogwarts Legacy, you can come across some magical beasts. You can find many fantastic beasts that are roaming in the magical lands in the game. You can find the beasts when you explore the lands outside the Hogwarts castle. You can find some Dens on the map, which will display the type of beast that inhabits the area.

Hogwarts Legacy All Shiny Beasts 

You can mount on three beasts which are Graphorns, Hippogriffs, and Thestrals in Hogwarts Legacy. There are a total of 13 beasts in the game, out of which, 12 have a shiny form. You can rescue and add them to your collection. Phoenix is the only beast that doesn’t have a shiny variant. Here is a list of beasts which have Shiny variants.

2. Fwooper
3. Giant Purple Toad
4. Graphorn
5. Hippogriff
6. Jobberknoll
7. Kneazle
8. Mooncalf
9. Niffler
10. Puffskein
11. Thestral
12. Unicorn.

How To Find And Catch Shiny Beasts?

You can use the ‘save and load’ method or the ‘wait’ method, to catch a shiny beast. 

Save and Load method

Follow these steps to get a shiny beast using this technique:

• Go near a Beast’s Den.
• Check whether there is a Shiny Beast. 
• If there is no Shiny Beast, grab the Nab-Sack and collect it.
• Save the game from the ‘Settings’ menu.
• Now, load the game until a Shiny Beast appears.

Wait method

Follow these steps to use this technique:

• Go near a Beast’s Den.
• Become invisible by using the Disillusionment Spell.
• If there is any Shiny beast, catch it.
• Now, go to the nearest Floo Flame.
• Open the map and press wait 
• This will respawn the Shiny Beasts again.

How To Know Whether A Beast Is Shiny In Hogwarts Legacy?

In the game Hogwarts Legacy, the beasts are not referred to by the word ‘Shiny’. However, you can figure out that it is a Shiny beast by the special color. You can also check the sparkle symbol near the name or on the right of the beast card on the Vivarium inventory page to identify whether the beast is Shiny. Each species of beasts will have a different-colored Shiny variant.
