Honkai: Star Rail Old Weapon Testing Ground Chest Locations

In the exciting world of Honkai: Star Rail, players can embark on treasure hunts within unique areas known as Old Weapon Testing Grounds. These grounds hide valuable chests filled with goodies to aid adventurers on their journey. There are a total of five chests to discover. Four of them are tucked away in a place known as F2, while the fifth one awaits in F1.

The first four chests in F2 are relatively straightforward to locate, but the chest in F1 poses a bit of a challenge as it requires players to conquer the Aetherium Wars. The great news is that these testing grounds are safe havens, free from enemy threats or elusive hidden chests. So, intrepid explorers can set forth with confidence, knowing that treasure awaits those who venture into these unique locations.

Unlocking Old Weapon Testing Ground F1 in Honkai: Star Rail

To gain access to Old Weapon Testing Ground F1 in Honkai: Star Rail, players must progress through the Aetherium Wars mini-game until they reach the fifth Victory Zone, where they will receive the Final Showdown! Intergalactic Celebration! Quest. Completing all four Victory Zones is essential, but there's no need for a perfect 100% exploration or Hyperlink Matches.

After conquering the Great Mine (the fourth Victory Zone), return to the Goethe Hotel, have a chat with March about the tournament, and then head back to the Old Weapon Testing Ground to speak with Wilder. Once registered with Wilder, the guard blocking the elevator's entrance will move aside, allowing Trailblazers to descend to the lower floor and explore Old Weapon Testing Ground F1.

Honkai: Star Rail Game Play

In Honkai: Star Rail, the gameplay is similar to traditional Japanese role-playing games. Players assemble a team of characters and engage in turn-based battles with a team of four. The game also includes elements of open-world exploration and dungeon crawling, allowing players to explore different areas.

It incorporates various game mechanics, such as the gacha system, which is borrowed from HoYoverse's earlier action RPG, Genshin Impact. This means that players can collect and upgrade characters and weapons to enhance their abilities, making strategic choices a vital part of the gaming experience.

Honkai: Star Rail Plot

The game's plot unfolds in a science-fantasy universe where humans and other sentient beings follow the guidance of beings called Aeons. The player, known as the Trailblazer, wakes up on a space station with no memory and discovers they possess a powerful cosmic entity called a Stellaron. They join a group of adventurers called the Trailblazers, traveling aboard the Astral Express, a cosmic train that journeys through the "Star Rail," visiting different worlds.

The story kicks off as the Trailblazer meets two crew members, March 7 and Dan Heng, and eventually encounters Himeko, the navigator, and Welt, an interstellar traveler from the Honkai Impact 3rd world. Together, they set out to uncover their origins and tackle the Stellarons' threats, embarking on various adventures across different planets. These adventures include confronting powerful foes, forging alliances, and solving mysteries in a universe filled with unique challenges and characters.
