Horizon Forbidden West is an action role-playing game set in 2022 that was developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game, a sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, takes place in the post-apocalyptic Western United States that is recuperating from an extinction event brought on by a renegade robot swarm. The player can engage in open-world combat with hostile machine creatures while accomplishing missions using ranged and melee weaponry. On February 18, 2022, Horizon Forbidden West was made available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Horizon Forbidden West Multiplayer Footage Leaks
Online leaks have purportedly revealed gameplay from Guerilla's upcoming Horizon Forbidden West co-op option. Guerilla was actively hiring for an internally developed "separate online project" in the Horizon universe that will focus on a "new cast of characters and a unique stylized look" and allow friends to "explore the majestic wilds of Horizon together," so we already knew that the studio's co-op dreams were still alive.
Now, it appears the "stylized look" is visible to everyone thanks to footage purportedly from a "Horizon Forbidden West alpha multiplayer" test that has been released. The film was discovered by the game's official subreddit community and u/BirdonWheels, who claims it was shot in "summer 2020" and is "extremely old." The movie features a "join-PC" and "join-PS4" options in the alpha build, suggesting that cross-platform connectivity may ultimately be included.
A PlayStation 5 remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn and a Horizon MMO, purportedly being developed in collaboration with Guild Wars publisher NCsoft, made 2022 a busy year for the Horizon franchise. The PSV2 release of Horizon Call of the Mountain is also scheduled for February 22. A Netflix live-action TV adaption is also forthcoming.

There is a video circulating that claims to be from the multiplayer alpha of Horizon Forbidden West.
