You can earn BP by completing BBQ quests. Once you've done that, head to the Canyon, especially around the Canyon Plaza.
Treecko isn't super common but not too rare either. You might have to look around a bit before finding one. In the Canyon biome, you might also encounter Tepig, Squirtle, Turtwig, or Litten. Treecko is a Grass-type, so avoid using Flying, Fire, Bug, Poison, or Ice-type moves as they can make it faint quickly. Instead, consider paralyzing it since it's resistant to Electric-type moves too.
