How to Dodge in Dead Island 2? 

• At the start of Dead Island 2, you will learn the basic skill of Dodging.
• Once your character reaches level 2, you will receive a Dodge Skill Card.
• To Dodge, equip the Dodge Skill Card and press LB or L1 button, then choose the direction using the stick.
• Dodging is useful as it helps you avoid most enemy attacks.
• Learning to Dodge in time will bring you closer to learning the Counter Skill.

How to Counter in Dead Island 2?

• Countering in Dead Island 2 is a simple process.
• To initiate a counter-attack, players must Dodge or Block right before the enemy's attack lands.
• This will cause a brief stun, and a button prompt will appear on the screen.
• Press the Square or X button to execute the counter-attack.
• If the enemy's health is low, players can finish them off with a counter-attack.

How to Block in Dead Island 2?

• Dodging can be done by pressing L1 on PlayStation or LB on Xbox.
• You need to unlock the Dodge ability by getting handcuffed by Emma.
• When you press the button, your character quickly moves a small distance in the direction you move.
• Using the left joystick allows you to move in your selected direction while dodging.
• Blocking is also done using the defense skill card.
• It is trickier than dodging because it makes it easier for a horde of zombies to gang up on you.
