Destiny 2 Lightfall is the seventh expansion released on February 28, 2023. It is also one of the major expansions for Destiny 2. It was expected to release in late 2022 but was delayed to early 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This expansion will revolve around the Witness and its newest Disciple, Emperor Calus. They assault the secret, advanced human city of Neomuna on Neptune. His focus is to destroy the Traveler in the Last City. In Lightfall, the player's Guardian travels to Neomuna to stop the Witness and Emperor Calus and their army. The player's guardian also tries to prevent their advance. The Guardian also discovers a brand new Darkness-based power as a subclass called Strand, which features psychic energy-based abilities that also allow them to travel across the Neomuna skyline.
How to find The Vex Incursion Zone in Destiny 2 Lightfall?
The Vex Incursion Zone is a moving area within the patrol zones in Neomuna. It changes once per day and has a lot of Vex enemies. The falling rain-like effect over a specific area in the map is to be used for identifying the active Vex Incursion Zone. Inside the Vex Incursion Zones, players will face high-level Vex enemies and will be rewarded Strand Meditations that can be used to progress their strand sub-class. This zone also adds the occasional Vex Strike Force public event. Exotic gears can be rewarded as a rare reward during the Vex Strike Force public event, upon successful completion.
