To feed it, you'll need to follow a "Red Light, Green Light" approach: as long as the Cobra's head is down, you can carefully approach it. However, if it raises its head, freezing in place will prevent startling the Cobra and scaring it away.
Now, becoming friends with these Cobras requires patience and attention. You can only raise the affection level with one type of Cobra per day. Offering them Eggs on days they're available helps in building a bond. Interestingly, giving more gifts or trying to befriend different-colored Cobras won't boost friendship levels further in the same day. Players have to focus on one color of Cobra each day to grow their bond.
