The valley used to be peaceful until the ruler disappeared, and Night Thorns caused villagers to lose their memories in "The Forgetting."
With the help of Merlin, you use your magic, called "Dreamlight," to clear away obstacles and restore the valley. You explore different realms, help characters, and uncover your own past as the former ruler. The cause of the problems is revealed to be a dark being called the Forgotten, who turns out to be your inner child corrupted by negative emotions.
