How to get Belly Drum on Azumarill in Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?
In the popular video games Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players have the opportunity to obtain an Azumarill with the powerful move Belly Drum. This move enables the Pokemon to sacrifice half of its health in exchange for maximum Attack power. There are two methods for obtaining an Azumarill with Belly Drum, one of which is slower and less expensive, while the other is faster but more costly.
The first method involves breeding an Azurill with Belly Drum. To begin, players must catch a male Zangoose in the South Province of the Paldea Region. While this may take some time as Zangoose are a bit rare, players will eventually come across the Cat Ferret Pokemon. The other Pokemon in the player's party must be placed in the boxes, leaving only the Zangoose and Eiscue.
Players should then go on a picnic with the two Pokemon and make a sandwich, choosing to make a Jam Sandwich or any other sandwich that gives the Egg Power boost. After feeding the Pokemon, players should let them play for a bit and occasionally check the basket by the picnic table for Eggs. Once players have obtained an Egg or two, they need to hatch it by walking or riding around a certain number of steps. To speed up the hatching process, players can place a Pokemon with Flame Body, Magma Armor, or Steam Engine abilities in their party alongside the eggs to keep them warm.
After the Egg hatches, players should check its summary to see if it inherited the Belly Drum move from the Zangoose. If not, players will need to try again by breeding another Egg. However, once they obtain an Azurill with Belly Drum, they can evolve it into an Azumarill by raising its happiness level through battles, leveling up, and other activities.
The second method for obtaining an Azumarill with Belly Drum is much faster but also more expensive. Players can purchase a Pokemon with Belly Drum from the Pokemon Global Link or trade with other players who already have one. This method may be more convenient for some players but requires more Pokedollars or negotiation skills.
