How To Get Broom In Hogwarts Legacy?
To obtain a broom in Hogwarts Legacy, you'll need to progress in the main story and complete the quest "Jackdaw's Rest." After completing this quest, you'll be prompted to attend your first Flying Class by the main lawn. Once you've completed the two tasks assigned by Madam Kagawa, take a lap around the castle with Everett Clopton.
After finishing the class, fast travel to Hogsmeade and head to the Spintwitches Sporting Needs shop located across from Ollivanders. Note that the shop will be closed if you try to visit before completing your first Flying Class.
Once inside the shop, speak to Albie Weekes and browse his selection of brooms, each costing 600 Gold. If you don't have enough gold, consider selling some unwanted gear or visiting Gladrags Wizardwear and opening the Eye Chest using the Disillusionment Charm for an easy 500 Gold.
To equip your broom, hold LB/L1/Tab (Xbox, PS, PC) and press B/○/3. Moving while flying has the same controls as your basic movement, and you can use a temporary speed boost by pressing LT/L2/Left Mouse Click.
When Do You Get A Broom In Hogwarts Legacy?
Purchasing your first broom will also unlock the side quest "Flight Test," which is given to you by Mr. Weekes. He'll direct you to meet with Iselda Reyes at the Quidditch Pitch. After speaking with her, she'll challenge you to a time trial that involves flying through rings, starting from the Quidditch Pitch and ending at a cove near Hogsmeade Station.
You don't need to hit all 22 rings, but missing one will deduct 3 seconds from your time. The golden bubbles located between the rings will provide a speed boost, so you won't need to use your manual boost. Popping a bubble will also fully replenish your manual boost, so be sure to take advantage of it.
Once you've beaten Iselda's record, return to Mr. Weekes to complete the quest. After some time, he'll send you a message through the Owl Post notifying you that the broom upgrade is ready. Speak to him again and you'll have the option to purchase the upgrade for 1,000 Gold.
To obtain subsequent upgrades, you'll need to complete two more of Iselda's time trials. You can start these quests for the second and final upgrade by speaking to Mr. Weekes.
