How to Get in The Yiga Clan Hideout?

You can reach the Yiga Clan Hideout in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by teleporting to the Gerudo Highland Skyview Tower. From there, Link should exit the cave using Ascend and head southeast to the cliff's edge. Gliding into the Canyon toward the Hideout's location is the best option, and using the tower's sky launch capability is unnecessary.

The player can enter the Gerudo Desert through the Gerudo Canyon Pass, found just beyond the Digdogg Suspension Bridge at coordinates -1650, -2049, -0015. Here, Link will encounter Naia, a Gerudo woman guarding the entrance, who will ask him a series of simple questions to prove his desert survival skills. While it's possible to bypass her, answering her questions is easy.

Alternatively, to reach the Hideout, the player should jump off the cliff at coordinates -3815, -1370, 0427 and glide deep into the Canyon. There is an opening at around coordinates -3735, -1420, 0361 that the player should glide into to ensure they have descended enough.

The Gerudo Highland Skyview Tower can be unlocked early in the game, making it less troublesome to deal with the harsh weather of the Canyon on the way to the Hideout. Players should bring appropriate cold and heat protection, although the journey is short, so it's not too difficult to manage without it.

If traveling from the Gerudo Canyon Pass entrance without completing the Regional Phenomena main quest, the journey will be challenging due to constant sandstorms and extreme temperatures. The map on Link's Purah Pad may be unreliable, but it still displays coordinates.

To make the desert journey more manageable, it's advisable for Link to use his Ultrahand ability to create a Zonai vehicle, which will expedite his travels across the vast desert.

Yiga Clan Hideout Locations

These are the locations of the Yiga Clan Hideout.

1) Hillside Hideaway

This Yiga hideout is located north of Hyrule Castle, near the Great Hyrule Forest and Korok Forest. The base is situated to the left of the forest's moat, about one-third up the forest's mass. It is close to the Aldor Foothills and east of Rowan Plains' Kiuyoyou Shrine. The base is cut into the hillside and marked by typical Yiga statues.

Inside, you'll face more complex challenges with rooms to clear and Yiga to battle. However, the reward in this hideout is slightly different; there's no outfit piece to find or captive to rescue in the main section. Instead, there's a secret room above the main section, which can be accessed by ascending or using the paraglider. In this secret room, you can perform one last rescue and obtain the final piece of the Yiga Armor set.

2) Akkala Ancient Tech Lab

Formerly known as the Ancient Tech Lab, this Yiga hideout is situated in the top-right corner of the map of Hyrule, near the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower in the Akkala Highlands.

As you approach the lab from the East Akkala Stable, you'll encounter some monsters, indicating the presence of the Yiga Clan. After defeating a couple of Yiga members, you can enter the lab to rescue a captive and obtain a piece of the Yiga Uniform outfit.

3) The King's Hut

Located on the Great Plateau, this hideout holds significance from the opening of the game "Breath of the Wild." It is in the south of the Temple of Time, within a forested area near the snowy Mount Hylia.

The hut, where the mysterious old man resided in "Breath of the Wild," is now taken over by the Yiga Clan. Similar to the first base, you'll need to engage in a fight with the Yiga footsoldiers before rescuing another captive and acquiring another piece of the Yiga Armor set.

Where is The Yiga Clan Hideout?

The Yiga Clan Hideout is present in the Gerudo Desert. The Yiga Clan's Hideout is hidden deep within the Gerudo Desert, situated near coordinates (-3687, -1366, 0331), at the base of the Gerudo Highlands mountains. To access this location conveniently, players can utilize the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower as a fast travel point, especially since it's one of the early Towers that can be unlocked.

By gliding off the Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will find themselves inside the canyons very close to the entrance of the Hideout. The Hideout is situated southeast of the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, nestled at the foot of the Gerudo Highlands mountains within the vast Gerudo Desert.

In this region, having heat resistance armor is crucial, as the Deserts are known for their harsh and unforgiving conditions, making it challenging for Link to travel without proper protection. Another quick route to reach the Hideout is through the Gerudo Canyon Pass, accessible by crossing the Digdogg Suspension Bridge. Guarding this passage is a Gerudo woman named Naiawho will test Link's survival skills by posing a series of three questions.

Upon arriving at the Hideout's gate for the first time, players will encounter an NPC named Mimos, who seeks entry into the sealed-off area. A voice from behind the locked gate will inform them that only members of the Yiga Clan are permitted access but that a select few can "earn their place among us."

To gain entry, players must locate the three branches of the Yiga Clan and collect all three pieces of the Yiga Clan attire, proving their worth and dedication to the clan in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

To access the Yiga Clan Hideout, Link must obtain the Yiga Armor set. Upon reaching Hideout's gate, he meets an NPC named Mimos, who mentions the possibility of learning the powerful Earthquake skill inside but warns that the clan won't open its doors willingly.

Mimos directs Link to the first location to find a piece of the Yiga Armor set, starting the side quest "Infiltrating the Yiga Clan." By obtaining and equipping the complete Yiga Armor set, Link gains entry to the Hideout and can explore its unique features.

Inside, there's a spacious training room with the Yiga Blademaster. If Link successfully defeats the Blademaster in battle, he will receive three exclusive rewards: the Yiga Fabric, the Earthwake Technique, and the coveted Lightning Helm, all valuable prizes not to be missed.
