The Deep Zone in Pacific Drive is a mysterious and uncharted area that you get to explore in a mission called "Explore the Deep Zone." In this part of the game, your main goal is to roam around, discover new places, and gather valuable resources while Oppy and the team process important data for your journey.
Although you only need to complete one mission to move forward with the story, taking extra time to explore the Deep Zone can be beneficial. You have the freedom to choose any destination within this unique zone, marked by black smudges in the top left corner of the map, allowing you to collect rare materials to upgrade your car.
To reach the Deep Zone, make sure to pack enough fuel and Battery Jumpers for the long journey. Once there, take your time exploring and scanning anomalies to familiarize yourself with the surroundings. Look out for a precious resource called Olympium, a purple ore found on tree-like structures.
To harvest Olympium, you'll need a Magnetic Hammer. After thoroughly exploring and collecting resources, gather Corrupted Energy Anchors, open a gateway, and return to the Auto Shop, completing the mission and unlocking the next one called "The Anomaly Barricade."

To enter the Deep Zone in Pacific Drive, first, make sure you're well-prepared. Upgrade your car with sturdy components like Lead-insulated parts for protection against radiation and Armored parts for extra damage resistance. Equip Puncture-proof or Offroad tires to navigate the challenging terrain and carry plenty of repair kits, including Repair Putty, Blowtorches, Sealing kits, and Mechanic's kits.
Stock up on Fuel Cans and Battery Jumpers to avoid getting stranded, and take advantage of charging stations along the route. Once prepared, head to the first marked crossing point on your map. Recharge your battery at the charging station, equip the LIM Shield, and activate gates to connect the circuit.
Keep moving, activate checkpoints, and take breaks when needed to inspect and repair your car. After successfully navigating this section, reach the exit gate marker, climb the last tower, and open the gate to enter the Deep Zone. Here, focus on reaching the Stabilizer to activate it, triggering the Instability Storm. When the storm arrives, head to the portal, and return to the Auto Shop, now ready to explore the Deep Zone in Pacific Drive.
