How To Get More Gear Slots Hogwarts Legacy?
How To Increase Gear Slots Hogwarts Legacy?
Hogwarts Legacy is an extensive game with an overwhelming number of items and gear to acquire, especially if you reach the maximum level of 40. The initial 20 Gear Slots you receive at the beginning of the game won't be enough to store all the gear you find.
However, there is a solution to increase your Gear Inventory Storage and hold more items. To do so, you need to complete Merlin Trials, of which there are a total of 95 to be completed in the game. While it may take a while to complete them all, it's not necessary to do so to maximise your Gear Inventory.
To increase your Gear Inventory Storage beyond the starting 20 Gear Slots in Hogwarts Legacy, you'll need to complete a certain number of Merlin Trials. The first two Merlin Trials you complete will grant you an additional 4 Gear Inventory Slots, and completing subsequent sets of Merlin Trials will unlock additional slots. Specifically, you'll need to solve 6 additional Merlin Trials to unlock the next set of Inventory Slots, and the number required increases until you've solved 20 more Merlin Trials to unlock the final set of 4 slots.
Once you've completed the first two Merlin Trials, you'll need to start over and complete an additional 6 Merlin Trials to unlock the next set of Inventory Slots. In total, you'll need to complete 52 of the game's 95 Merlin Trials to reach the maximum capacity of 40 Inventory Slots, which is well worth it as it provides more space to hold your acquired items and gear.
With 40 Inventory Slots, you won't need to clear out your inventory as frequently, and you can capture and sell more beasts at shops for more Galleons. Additionally, having extra space allows you to save gear that you might not want to get rid of, whereas with only 20 slots you might have to discard items you want to keep. If you can't find Merlin Trials on the map, it's likely because you haven't yet completed Main Quest 15 "Merlin Trials."
