How to Get The Dawnmaster's Crest in BG3?

To obtain the Dawnmaster's Crest, you'll need to place the four ceremonial weapons on their respective pedestals, which can be found scattered around the Monastery. Each weapon must be placed in front of the corresponding Dawnmaster depicted in the stained glass window, causing the weapon and surrounding crystals to emit a bright blue glow.

1) Ceremonial Longsword Location:

  • The Ceremonial Longsword is the easiest to obtain, as it is already in its designated spot when you enter the room. You don't need to worry about this weapon. However, note that it loses its glow if removed from the pedestal or placed on a different one, indicating that each weapon has a specific resting place.

2) Ceremonial Battleaxe Location:

  • The Ceremonial Battleaxe can be found at coordinates (X:103, Y:45) on the same floor as the stained glass window.
  • Head south from the stained glass window until you reach a large hole in the floor. Jump over the hole and walk east to locate a locked enchanted door. You can either lockpick the door or jump over the beds or destroy them to gain entry.
  • Alternatively, you can jump through the southeast window in the stained glass room and follow the path outside, which leads to the window of the room containing the Battleaxe.
  • You'll discover the Ceremonial Battleaxe on the ground near a Guardian of Faith sentry. To obtain it, you may need to defeat the sentry, but you can easily do so by staying outside of its radiant circle and attacking from a distance.

3) Ceremonial Warhammer Location:

  • The Ceremonial Warhammer can be found inside the Eagle's nest on the rooftop of the Monastery, at coordinates (X:80, Y:40).
  • Similar to the Battleaxe, the Warhammer cannot be obtained without a fight unless you are stealthy enough to take it without alerting the Eagle mother. If stealth and diplomacy fail, you may have to battle the Eagles to obtain the Warhammer.

4) Rusty Mace Location:

  • The Rusty Mace, the final weapon, is not as ceremonial as the others and appears quite worn. You can find it on the ground floor of the Monastery at coordinates (X:87, Y:32), next to a skeleton.
  • If you have already opened the main entrance of the Monastery, head through it towards the north until you reach a large 'Blood of Lathander' statue. Continue east, and you will come across an oak door on your right, where the Rusty Mace is located.
  • Alternatively, you can access the room by destroying the cracked wall on the eastern side. To reach the cracked wall, head down a stairway from the rooftop around the Eagle's nest. Look for the talking bust to ensure you're in the correct area.

5) Placing the Ceremonial Weapons:

  • To solve the Stained Glass puzzle, the Ceremonial weapons need to be placed on the correct pedestals, as indicated by the stained glass on the ground. You can do this by selecting each weapon in your inventory, clicking 'Throw,' and aiming for the respective pedestals.
  • Ceremonial Longsword goes on the northwest pedestal.
  • Ceremonial Battleaxe goes on the southwest pedestal.
  • Ceremonial Warhammer goes on the northeast pedestal.
  • Rusty Mace goes on the southeast pedestal.

Once you have placed all the weapons correctly, a hidden opening in the wall on the north side of the room will be revealed, containing a pouch. Inside this pouch, you will find the coveted Dawnmaster's Crest.

Now that you have obtained the Dawnmaster's Crest, you can proceed to its rightful spot beneath the Rosymorn Monastery. Dawnmaster Crest BG3

In Baldur's Gate 3, to get the Dawnmaster's Crest, you need to solve a puzzle involving four ceremonial weapons. You'll find these weapons around the Rosymorn Monastery. The first weapon, a Ceremonial Longsword, is already in its place. The second, a Ceremonial Battleaxe, is located nearby and guarded by a sentry.

You can defeat it from a distance to claim the weapon. The third, a Ceremonial Warhammer, is on the monastery's rooftop, guarded by eagles. You might need to battle them or try to sneak past. The fourth, a Rusty Mace, can be found on the ground floor next to a skeleton.

To solve the puzzle, place each weapon on its corresponding pedestal as shown in the stained glass window: Longsword on the northwest, Battleaxe on the southwest, Warhammer on the northeast, and Rusty Mace on the southeast. When you do this correctly, a hidden wall opens on the north side of the room, revealing a pouch with the Dawnmaster's Crest inside. Once you have the crest, you can use it where it belongs under the Rosymorn Monastery. This puzzle adds a fun challenge to your adventure in Baldur's Gate 3.
