Critics who review games mostly liked Starfield. They liked the big world you can explore, the space setting, and the music. Prior to the official launch of the game on September 6, PureDark, a modder, released a free mod to incorporate DLSS 2 into Starfield. PureDark also introduced another mod, DLSS 3 with frame generation, but this one wasn't free, and it came with DRM protection, which caused some controversy in the gaming community. Shortly after its release, the DRM for the DLSS 3 mod was successfully bypassed.

How to Get the Dragonfire II Ship in Starfield?

To get the Dragonfire II ship in Starfield, you need to go to The Eleos Retreat's Ship Services Technician. The Eleos Retreat is on the planet Ixyll II, in the Ixyll system. If you're having trouble finding it, look to the Northeast of the Kryx system and east of the Cheyenne system. It's located near the Celebrai, Freya, and Shoza systems.

Once you've landed on Ixyll II, go to the Ship Services building, which is north of where your own ship is parked. Inside, talk to the Technician. Choose the dialogue option that says, "Let me see what ships you have for sale." You should then see the Dragonfire II among the available ship options. Besides the Dragonfire II, you can also check out other ships like the Wanderlust, Endeavor II, and Zumwalt II.

Is Buying the Dragonfire II Ship a Good Choice?

The Dragonfire II is a Class C ship equipped with seven Crew slots, a cargo inventory of 2790, Particle Beam and Ballistic weapons, and a robust shield. You can buy it for approximately 360,000 Credits, and if you're skilled in Commerce, you might get a discount of up to 20% based on your rank.

Now, whether it's a good buy depends on a few factors. First, it's a Class C ship, which means you need to have a Piloting skill level of 4 in the Tech skill tree. Second, you'll need around 300,000 Credits, which can be quite a sum for many players. However, if you meet these two requirements and are open to adding a missile launcher to enhance its capabilities, then it's definitely a worthwhile investment. If I had the Credits, I'd probably get it myself. With some sleek black and red accents, it could turn into quite a stunning ship.

Starfield Gameplay

In Starfield, players will immerse themselves in an expansive action role-playing experience set in an open-world environment within the Milky Way galaxy. The game offers a seamless transition between first-person and third-person perspectives, allowing players to choose their preferred viewpoint at any time.

With a vast universe at their disposal, players can explore over 1,000 planets, numerous moons, and space stations, both fictional and inspired by real-life celestial bodies. The game's landscapes are primarily procedurally generated, with handcrafted content enhancing the planetary experiences.

Players will encounter diverse non-playable characters (NPCs) during their journey, some of whom may become part of the player's crew, aiding in various ways such as combat support, item carrying, and dialogue interactions. These NPCs may offer insights and comments based on the player's choices, adding depth to the game's narrative. Additionally, some NPCs are available for romantic relationships, enriching the player's social interactions.
