Unlock the Hunter:
Locate and awaken the Hunter as part of the "Hunter Becomes The Hunted" quest. You can find the Hunter in the Ancient Vault northeast of the Cinder Vault and east of the Ancient Spire — Springlands Fast Travel tower.
Gather Salt at the Salt Mine:
Complete the "Salt Mine Location" quest given by the Hunter.
Head to the Egerton Salt Mines west-northwest of the Ancient Spire — Springlands Fast Travel tower.
Look for cube-shaped salt deposits on the rock walls.
Craft the Small Backpack:
Speak to the Hunter and craft a drying rack using 10 wood logs and 6 strings.
Place 1 animal fur and 3 salt into the drying rack to obtain 1 dried fur.
Use 4 dried fur, 3 torn cloth, and 5 strings to craft the small backpack.
Equip the Small Backpack:
Open the Character menu.
Locate the third slot down on the left designated for your backpack extension.
Select the newly crafted small backpack to equip it and gain 8 additional inventory slots.

Enshrouded Gameplay
Enshrouded is a third-person survival action role-playing game that allows up to 16 players to explore the open world of Embervale. In this world, players can construct bases, gather resources, and craft equipment. The game introduces the concept of the Shroud, a fog-covered area filled with hostile monsters where players can only stay for a limited time before facing consequences.
While exploring the Shroud, players may discover valuable loot and regularly regenerating treasure chests. To survive, players must manage their character's hunger and thirst, impacting combat efficiency. Drinking water enhances endurance, while eating food boosts constitution. Combat involves using various weapons, dodging, and parrying.
Advancing in the game unlocks talents and specialization into three classes: Trickster, Battlemage, or Survivor. Players gain a glider and grappling hook for improved traversal.
