Making Nuts & Bolts in Disney Dreamlight Valley involves a few steps. To start, you'll need two things: a Robot Fish and an almond.

Robot Fish:
You can find the Robot Fish swimming in The Docks and The Overlook regions in the Ancient’s Landing biome on Eternity Isle. To catch it, use your Royal Fishing Rod near the gold ripples in these areas. If you don’t have the rod, complete The Royal Tools quest to get it. It might take a bit of time as these gold ripples aren't very common.

Almond:
Almonds are found in the Wild Tangle biome, but you'll need to unlock this area by making progress in the game. Once unlocked, search for almond plants and harvest almonds from them. Each harvest will give you two almonds.
Once you've collected a Robot Fish and an almond, head to any cooking station in the game. Interact with the pot or cooking area and follow the instructions to combine these ingredients and make Nuts & Bolts.
After it's ready, you can either sell it for coins or eat it in the game to gain energy. That's all there is to it!
