To permanently improve your character's abilities in God of War Ragnarok Valhalla, you need to follow these steps after downloading the latest update. During your first playthrough after the update, you'll face a curse that prevents you from using your shield to block and parry. After being defeated and sent outside, you'll experience some cutscenes with Freya and the Valkyries, including a tutorial.
Once these scenes are over, you'll gain access to new stations at The Shore. From where Freya is located, go left, up the platform, then take the right path. Although the game doesn't explicitly show these stations, you can easily find them. Look for a large tablet with a red Omega symbol called the Tablet of Reflection. Interact with this tablet to improve your character's stats. Initially, you have two sets of stats to enhance, but more will become available as you progress in the game.
Improvement options
