Fortnite is an online video game made by Epic Games in 2017. It has three versions with similar gameplay: Fortnite Battle Royale, where up to 100 players fight to be the last one standing for free; Fortnite: Save the World, a cooperative game where up to four players defend against zombie-like creatures using traps and fortifications; and Fortnite Creative, where players can make their own worlds.
Save the World and Battle Royale came out in 2017, while Creative was released on December 6, 2018. Save the World is available on macOS, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. Battle Royale and Creative are on those platforms too, plus Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch. The game also came out on the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

How to Play Fortnite Split Screen?
Start Fortnite and go to the Main Menu.
Ensure both controllers are connected and turned on.
The first player invites the second player to select their account.
Once signed in, the second player appears, and the split-screen activates when starting a game.
Check the internet connection; the split-screen requires a stable connection.
Note: If one player disconnects, the split-screen session ends.
Split-screen works only during a match; the lobby and sub-menus are not shared.
Inventory sharing isn't possible in split-screen mode.
Both players must have the same language settings.

Fortnite: Save the World is a cooperative game where four players work together on missions. The story is about a big storm that makes most people disappear and turns others into zombie-like creatures. Players act as leaders of home bases, gather resources, rescue survivors, and defend equipment. They get rewards like characters, weapons, and more to improve their abilities.
Fortnite Battle Royale is a game for up to 100 players. They start with no weapons and jump from a flying bus onto the game's map. They need to find weapons, resources, and vehicles while staying alive and fighting other players. The map gets smaller over time because of a dangerous storm, pushing players closer together. The last person, duo, or group standing wins.
Players use a pickaxe to gather basic resources like wood, brick, and metal. They can use these materials to build walls, floors, and stairs for protection or quick movement. In Save the World, V-Bucks can be used to get random items from llama-shaped piñatas. In Battle Royale, they're used for cosmetics or the battle pass, which gives rewards for playing and completing objectives during a season.
