How to Set Up Skill Research in Payday 3?
In Payday 3 many players forget to do skill research, but it's an important part of the game. If you don't choose which skill to research, the game will automatically research them one by one starting with the most important. To focus on a specific skill, simply click on the one you want to research. This will prioritize that skill and any XP you earn from completing heists will be used to research it.
Once your chosen skill is fully researched, the game will go back to its automatic research order. But don't worry, you can always pick another skill to focus on in the same way. When you fully research a major skill, you unlock its skill tree, which lets you research its sub-skills in future heists. Just remember, you can't research these sub-skills separately.
