Fortnite: Save the World is a cooperative tower defense-shooter and survival game that allows up to four players to team up and defend against zombie-like creatures using traps and fortifications they build. Fortnite Creative gives players the freedom to create their own worlds and battle arenas.
While Save the World and Battle Royale were initially released as early access titles in 2017, Fortnite Creative was introduced on December 6, 2018. One such challenge involves finding flames scattered throughout the environment and arranging them in the correct order. This task requires careful observation and strategic thinking to successfully unlock the secrets hidden within these mysterious locations.
How to Solve the Find the Flames Puzzle in Fortnite?
In order to unlock the door, you must interact with the nearby braziers, which are torches. Some braziers need to be lit while others should remain unlit. However, the specific braziers to be lit are randomized in each game session. To determine which braziers to light or unlight, you need to explore the surrounding ruins and locate braziers with the same arrangement. Take note of how those braziers are lit and replicate the same pattern.
For instance, if there are five braziers arranged with one in each corner and one in the middle, you should find similarly positioned braziers in the vicinity. If the northwest and center braziers are lit while the others are not, you need to mimic this pattern in front of the door's braziers.
Keep in mind that some ruins have braziers at different elevations, like the temple situated north of the trailers in the central part of the map. The middlemost brazier is on the ground floor, while the other four braziers are on elevated platforms.
Once all the correct braziers are properly lit, the door will automatically open. However, if you prefer, you can attempt to solve the puzzle through trial and error without inspecting the temple. Nevertheless, we recommend observing the surroundings carefully before approaching these doors.
How to Open the Secret Room in Fortnite?
In the latest update of Chapter 4 Season 3, exciting puzzles have been introduced to the game. These captivating enigmas are cleverly concealed within ancient structures, waiting to be unraveled by intrepid players. However, gaining access to these puzzles requires possessing at least two items of Epic rarity or higher in your inventory.
If you dare to unlock one of the most coveted hidden rooms on the island, venture to the designated location marked on the map displayed above. Prior to embarking on this quest, ensure you have acquired two items of Epic rarity or higher and thoroughly plundered all chests in the surrounding region. Once adequately prepared, ascend the stairs and discover a concealed entrance that demands a valuable sacrifice. Interact with the entrance by offering an item of Epic or higher rarity, and behold as the secret door gradually reveals its secrets.
Upon stepping inside, continue forward until you reach a precarious plank spanning a deep chasm. Descend with caution and reach the statue guarding an Epic chest. To claim the treasures within the statue's chest, you must descend and pilfer the loot. Take note of the sequence in which the flames on the pedestals surrounding the room are ignited.
Afterward, make your way out of the ruins by breaking through a few boulders and ascending back up the plank. Returning to the top of the steps, you will encounter a second door at the plank area. To unlock the door leading to the room housing the flames puzzle, you must make another sacrifice. Interact with the door and offer another item of Epic or higher rarity in exchange.
As you step into the room, you will immediately notice pedestals adorned with flames resembling the ones seen before. Approach the hidden entrance and interact with it, triggering the prompt "Find the Flames." This prompt aligns with the sequence of flames observed in the lower level. Carefully extinguish and reignite specific flames outside the hidden door, faithfully reproducing the pattern witnessed earlier. Once you successfully replicate the correct sequence, a hidden room will unveil itself, revealing a plethora of regular and epic chests filled with valuable treasures waiting to be claimed.
How to Find The Flames Flames Riddle Pass?
There are two concealed ancient ruins awaiting discovery on the map, conveniently located near the newly introduced Creeky Compound. For players seeking these hidden treasures, here are the map coordinates for both the southern and northern hidden ruins vaults: To access the hidden ruins vaults, it is crucial to solve the flame puzzles. Failing to complete these puzzles will result in the inability to open the main door, instead presenting you with the prompt "find flames" upon investigation.
To unlock the southern hidden ruins vault in Fortnite and obtain the Flames Pass, head towards the specific location highlighted in the image provided. Follow the stone stairs leading downwards until you encounter the first door on your left, as shown in the image. The door emits a purple glow, indicating the requirement of an Epic rarity item for access. Any Epic item will suffice. Once you offer the Epic item, the door will open, granting you entry to the vault housing various chests. Inside the room where the Epic item was given, you will find four braziers. In order to unlock the vault, you must locate the flames and obtain the flames pass to solve the flames puzzle and open the door.
Descend one level, where you will discover four small rooms situated in each corner. Each room contains a brazier, some of which may or may not be lit with a purple flame. Observe and memorize the status of the braziers, particularly noting which ones are unlit. The fifth brazier, located on the middle floor below the other four, should also be considered.
Once you have committed the lit and unlit status of the braziers to memory, descend the stairs once more and enter the room with the door that prompts you to find flames. Extinguish the unlit braziers upstairs to match your earlier observations. In the event of an error, simply relight the respective brazier. Upon successful completion, you will have solved the "find flames" puzzle and obtained the flames pass. Proceed through the door and select "attempt to open door" on either of the statues.
To access the other hidden ruins vault located northwest of Creeky Compound, follow these steps to solve the flames puzzle and obtain the Flames Pass. Begin by heading to the designated location of the hidden ruins on the south side, where a flight of stairs awaits. Upon reaching the first door that prompts you to give an item, instead, turn around and descend the stairs. At the end of the stairs, take a right and break the wall. Continue along the path, and when you come across a hole in the wall, you'll enter the room with part of the flames puzzle.
Similar to the previous vault, observe and remember which braziers are lit and unlit with purple flames. Return to the room with the statue and locate some tall rocks to climb onto. Turn around and shoot the wall behind you to break it open. Jump up and proceed through the wall opening to enter the flames puzzle room.
