What is Midjourney V5?
Midjourney is an AI program and service offered by Midjourney, Inc., an independent research lab based in San Francisco. According to founder David Holz, Midjourney sees artists as customers and not as competitors. Artists use Midjourney to quickly prototype their artistic concepts to show to clients before starting work themselves. However, some artists have accused Midjourney of reducing the value of original creative work by using it in the training set. Midjourney's terms of service include a DMCA takedown policy, allowing artists to request their work's removal from the set if they believe copyright infringement is evident. Advertisers are also quick to embrace AI tools such as Midjourney, DALL-E, and Stable Diffusion, which allow them to create original content and brainstorm ideas quickly. This has led to new opportunities, such as creating custom ads for individuals, developing new ways to create special effects, and improving the efficiency of e-commerce advertising.
