How To Complete Hungry Mermaids Mission in Skull And Bones?

To complete the mission effectively, follow these simplified steps. First, open the map and set a course to The Necropolis on the Naga Coast. Scout the shoreline upon arrival to locate the Overseas Smuggler positioned conveniently on the right side. Engage in conversation with the Smuggler using the designated key on your device, and accept any available contracts, especially those related to "Hungry Mermaids."

Next, consult the map again and travel north to Oosten Capital. Purchase 20 nutmeg from the vendor in Oosten Capital to prepare for your journey. Upon arrival at the Lost City of Prei, examine the treasure map to unveil the precise location for hiding the nutmeg.

Skull And Bones Gameplay

Skull and Bones gameplay lets you become a fierce pirate captain, unlike Sea of Thieves where you manage individual ship functions. In Skull and Bones, you control everything from navigation to combat and crew management, similar to the naval sections in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag but refined over nine years.

There are three types of ships in Skull and Bones: Navigation, Firepower, and Cargo. Each ship has its own strengths and abilities. Navigation ships are the fastest for traveling long distances, Cargo ships can carry the most items for loot or crafting, and Firepower ships excel in combat.

You can customize all 12 available ships to suit your playstyle. You must also maintain ship condition and crew morale to avoid mutiny. If your ship sinks, you'll respawn at the nearest Pirate Den with only some of your cargo recovered. You can retrieve the rest, but be prepared to fight other players for it.

Maps Available in Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones has a huge map spanning 625 square kilometers, making it larger than Ubisoft's previous game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which was already massive at 255 square kilometers. To help players navigate this vast world, the map is divided into five main regions.

The Red Isle: This is the starting region for all players and is located in the center of the map. It's the smallest region and resembles the island of Madagascar. It serves as a hub for trade between the East and West, with Sainte Anne as the local Pirate Den and Fort du Lys as the military base. There are 3 main factions, 8 outposts, and 10 settlements in this region.

The Coast of Africa: This western region is the largest and resembles countries like Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, and Somalia. It doesn't have a Pirate Den but has military bases like Grand Fort and Fort-du-Bout. There are 2 main factions, 8 outposts, and 9 settlements here.

The East Indies: Occupying the eastern portion of the map, this region resembles places like Singapore, Malaysia, and Cambodia. It features the Pirate Den Telok Penjarah and multiple military bases like Fort Duister and Megafort Oosten. There are 2 factions, 11 outposts, and 8 settlements in this region.

The Open Seas: This vast region mainly consists of open water and connects the coast of Africa to the islands of the south side of East Asia, resembling the Indian Ocean. It doesn't have a Pirate Den or settlements but includes one faction and 6 useful outposts.

Others: The northern portion of the map is currently unavailable and may be accessible once the full game launches.

Hungry Mermaids: Next Mission And Rewards in Skull And Bones

After delivering the 20 Nutmegs collected in 'The Lost City of Prei', the mission ends. Upon completing the mission 'Hungry Mermaids: The Restitution', Sam receives a set of clothing and 1500 silver coins as a reward.

To proceed to the next mission, 'The Marquis', after 'Hungry Mermaids', head southeast to 'The Forgotten Candi'. 'The Marquis' is a notorious bounty hunter who has inflicted suffering on common people and escaping or negotiating with them is impossible. Your task is to eliminate 'The Marquis' to put an end to their reign of terror, and the rewards for doing so are substantial.
