iCarly Season 3 Episode 10 Plot

In the season opener, Sam becomes giddy and intoxicated after inhaling nitrous oxide, leading her to reveal to Carly that she and Freddie shared their first kiss, although she can't remember it clearly. Carly, curious about the situation, confronts Freddie about it. Initially, Freddie evades the question but eventually admits it to be true.

Carly decides to bring both Sam and Freddie to her apartment separately and confronts them about keeping the kiss a secret from her. Realizing they need to be more open with each other, Sam and Freddie agree to stop keeping secrets and promise to share everything.

Two weeks later, the trio finds themselves in need of dates for a Girl's-Choice-Dance event. However, their individual dates don't go well, leading Carly and Freddie to share a romantic slow dance together at the Groovy Smoothie. Sam unexpectedly witnesses this intimate moment and silently leaves the scene.

Three months later, Freddie saves Carly from an oncoming taco truck, sacrificing himself and getting injured in the process. Carly is immensely grateful and starts caring for Freddie during his recovery, even sharing a kiss with him at one point. Soon after, Sam tells Freddie that he is Carly's "bacon," implying that Carly is only showing affection because of his heroic act.

Though Freddie initially dismisses this, he starts to question it later that night at Carly's apartment. He expresses his concerns, and the two mutually decide to end their relationship for now, acknowledging that Carly's feelings might be influenced by the heroism. However, they agree to try again in the future when Carly's attraction to Freddie is based on who he truly is as a person.
