Team Selection:

Fortunately, Fuuka's Escape Route ability now allows you to switch your team before engaging the Invigorated Gigas. Opt for Aigis and Akihiko for their debuffs, buffs, and physical prowess. Bring Yukari for support. Ensure Yuki's Persona can deliver heavy damage or provide useful buffs without vulnerability to strike attacks.

Buffing/Debuffing Round:

Initiate the battle with a round focused on buffs and debuffs. Have Yukari cast Sukunda, Akihiko cast Matarunda, Aigis cast Matarukaja or Marakukaja, and Yuki deploy available buffs. Align your choice with Aigis's to boost either attack or defense.

Attacking Rounds:

The next three turns are dedicated to offensive actions. Aigis should use a multi-hit physical attack, Akihiko can employ physical or electric attacks, and Yuki should unleash a potent physical attack or a non-ice, light, or dark-based spell.

Healing and Strategy:

Yukari plays a crucial role in maintaining the team's health. Use Mediarama when the group sustains damage. If the team is already at full health, unleash a powerful wind spell for substantial damage. After buffs and debuffs expire, take a turn to reapply them and resume the attack pattern. Utilize Theurgy attacks when available to expedite the boss's defeat.

Persona 3

Persona 3 Reload is a video game where you play a character who goes back to their hometown ten years after their parents passed away. It's a remake of Persona 3 from 2006 and is part of the larger Megami Tensei series. You can play it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and it was released on February 2, 2024.

Just like in the original game, the main character is a high school student with the ability to summon a Persona, a manifestation of their inner spirit. They join a group called the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.) along with other Persona users. Together, their job is to defeat Shadows and solve the mystery of the Dark Hour.

Fans had been asking for a remake of Persona 3, especially after the success of Persona 5 in 2016, and Atlus officially acknowledged these requests. Reload's development started in 2019, and it was first reported in April 2023 before being officially announced in June 2023.

The game faithfully retells the story of the original Persona 3 but with updated graphics and features to match the later games in the series. Shigenori Soejima supervised the new art direction by Tomohiro Kumagai and character designs by Azusa Shimada. Atsushi Kitajoh created new music and rearranged the original compositions, featuring new vocal tracks by Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice.

Persona 3 Gameplay

Persona 3 is a game that mixes role-playing and simulation elements. In the game, you play as a high-school student dealing with daily life, going to school, and building relationships. But, during a mysterious time called the Dark Hour, you also fight evil beings called Shadows.

Your days are split into daytime and evening. Besides scripted events, you choose how to spend your time each day, affecting your character's attributes: Academics, Charm, and Courage. In the evening, you can visit Tartarus, the main dungeon, to build your party's experience and items. On full moon days, there are boss battles to advance the story.

The game's main feature is Personas, creatures linked to Tarot cards. Each Persona has strengths, weaknesses, and different abilities. While other characters have their own Persona, the protagonist can use multiple Personas in battles.

You can create new Personas by fusing existing ones. Social links are new to the series, representing bonds formed with characters, each related to a Tarot card. Spending time with them increases social link ranks, giving bonuses when creating Personas of that Tarot card. Negative actions can break or reverse social links.

Tartarus is the main dungeon, visited in the evening. Players explore, split up party members, and battle Shadows. Boss floors and story progression impact progress. Spending too much time in Tartarus can make characters Tired or Sick, affecting performance. Battles start when you touch a Shadow, using a turn-based system with physical and elemental attacks. Exploiting weaknesses lets characters knock down enemies, gaining extra turns. Winning battles earns experience points, leveling up Personas for better stats and abilities.
