The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a male T20 franchise cricket league in India. It is yearly contested by ten teams founded in seven cities and three states. The Indian Premier League was established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in the year 2007. Defending winners Gujarat Titans will host Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in the beginning fixture of IPL 2023. The 16th edition of the tournament begins on March 31st and the final league match will be played on May 21. Yet, BCC hasn’t announced the dates for IPL 2023 Playoffs. A whole of 70 league games will be played containing 18 doubleheaders. Each group will play 7 home and 7 away games.
