In 1988, Forbes was born and went on to form a hip-hop group called Entity in 2002 with his friends Vice Versa and Greyhound. The group received recognition for their talent, including a nomination for the Best African Hip Hop category at the KORA Awards. After Entity disbanded in 2006, Forbes pursued further education in sound engineering and co-founded a production collective called The I.V League with two other members. With The I.V League, Forbes made significant contributions to the South African music industry, producing tracks for well-known artists such as Khuli Chana, ProKid, and JR.
