Dead Island 2 fills the void left by the first Dead Island video game, which was a funny, cheesy romp with zombie-slaying action. The series has always been enjoyed most by a group of friends taking on the undead hordes while constructing bizarre tools and weapons. Everyone really wants Dead Island 2's co-op multiplayer to be a part of the game for this reason. Although co-op multiplayer for Dead Island 2 hasn't been officially confirmed, with six different characters, we'd be shocked if it didn't. The 8-year wait was disappointing for a wacky zombie-slayer that looked super-cool in its very first reveal in 2014. The live-action movie is a lot of fun, and it did a great job of creating anticipation for the other games' reveals. Regarding the excitement it generated, we were able to view a portion of the gameplay reveal trailer that was released soon after. We get to see a lot of LA, or more accurately, Hell, which will allow us to play Dead Island 2. It appears both dreamy and bloody, but that is only the beginning. There will be sufficient opportunity to literally slash and bust zombie brains. We have learned about the various kinds of weapons that can be used for this, such as katanas, machetes, swords, hammers of different sizes, bats and clubs, bear claws, and of course guns and rifles.

The focus of the game is melee combat, even though there are guns in it (gunsies are for funsies!). and we had to start from scratch to accomplish that." A lot of this depends on how the undead react to you and your breakable weapons: punching them in the eyes, stabbing them with a spear, hacking off a limb, etc. "We're a zombie game for zombie lovers and a homage to anyone who enjoys the genre, and zombies are at the heart of this game,"It remains to be seen whether the entire experience will hold up under scrutiny, but for now, one thing is for sure: it's going to look damn good, regardless of how it all comes together.
