In the first arc of Tokyo Revengers, Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old temp worker, discovers that his ex-girlfriend Hinata and her younger brother Naoto were killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang. He has a strange experience where he time-travels 12 years back to 2005. While in the past, he meets Naoto and learns the date of Hinata's death.
