Madden NFL 24
Madden NFL 24 is the latest American football video game from EA Tiburon, launched on August 18 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. This installment, following Madden NFL 23, features Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen as the cover athlete. Developed with the Frostbite 3 engine, the game continues the Madden NFL series tradition, offering both single-player and multiplayer modes for fans to enjoy.
With its release in 2023, Madden NFL 24 brings the thrill of NFL action to gaming enthusiasts. Whether you're into sports simulations or a fan of the NFL, the game aims to capture the excitement of football on various gaming platforms, promising an engaging experience for both solo players and those looking to compete with friends in multiplayer mode.
Is Madden NFL 24 Franchise Mode Crossplay?
Madden NFL 24 is making big moves towards cross-platform play, but the franchise mode isn't fully there yet. While EA has plans for cross-platform play, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, it's not quite ready in the franchise mode just yet. This mode has been a staple for football gaming fans, but the dream of playing with friends on different systems isn't fully realized here. Even though it's not completely crossplay-ready, the game is taking steps in that direction, and hopefully, in the near future, players across various platforms will get to dive into the franchise mode together.
As of now, Madden NFL 24's franchise mode isn't offering full cross-platform play. While it's a feature that's being worked on and the closed beta might be a sign of things to come, the mode isn't quite there in terms of letting players from different platforms team up. The community's been eager for this kind of connectivity for a while, and while the game is heading in that direction, it's not fully embracing cross-platform play for the franchise mode just yet.
Madden NFL 24 Gameplay
Madden NFL 24 comes packed with new features for the latest consoles. It brings in SAPIEN technology that makes players move more realistically, giving them a more lifelike look. The gameplay steps up with refs back on the field, better blocking, and something called Fieldsense. There's also a big upgrade in how hitting and tackling work, with over 1,000 new animations for a more dynamic experience.
In the franchise mode, they're bringing back mini-games that haven't been seen since Madden NFL 12, and these are exclusively available on the next-gen consoles. They've added more trade slots, expanded the cities you can play in, and introduced new and updated uniforms for when your team relocates. Plus, there's an overhaul in the free agency and draft system to make it more engaging.
Superstar mode makes a return, specially designed for the latest consoles. For offline players, there's "The League", while online players get "Showdown", previously known as "The Yard" in the older consoles. And don't forget, Buffalo Bills' quarterback, Josh Allen, graces the cover of the game, announced back in June 2023.
