Slumdog Millionaire movie was based on the book written by an Indian Diplomat Vikas Swarup in 2005 called Q&A. The book itself was based on a real-life incident that had happened in the Britain show called Who wants to be a millionaire in which a military major Charles Ingram was accused of cheating in a 2001 iTV game show that inspired the author to write the novel called Q&A his reasoning was if a Military major was accused of cheating then ignorant tiffin boy from the world’s biggest slum can also be.
