Earlier, BigHit on November 6, BTS' agency, BigHit had revealed that Suga had undergone shoulder surgery. BigHit fired the authorized statement on November 6, stating that Suga had experienced surgery to repair his ripped shoulder labrum on November 3. They noted that the surgery has been victorious, however, Yoongi aka Suga is presently in recovery following all the guidelines laid out by the doctor. The agency had also said that Suga would be unable to participate in the promotional actions for their new album BE. BigHit also noted why the rapper chose to do the surgery now when their group is at a career-high. They said that the reason for Suga's sudden surgery was the long-borne shoulder break that he had since the year 2012. BigHit declared that Suga has had issues with his shoulder since 2012 which was before his debut, he also met a dislocated shoulder in the year 2013.
