Is Ultra Necrozma in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
Yes, Ultra Necrozma is in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It's one of the strongest Pokémon introduced in the series and made its debut in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. To get Ultra Necrozma in these games, you need to first fuse Necrozma with either Solgaleo or Lunala, turning it into Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma.
This fusion requires special items called N-Solarizer or N-Lunarizer. After the fusion, Necrozma must hold the Ultranecrozium Z and use its exclusive Z-Move called "Light that Burns the Sky" in battle to Ultra Burst into Ultra Necrozma. This means you can only see Ultra Necrozma during battles. The Pokémon has made appearances in other games, including The Indigo Mask DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, allowing players to unlock its power.
Where to Obtain Ultranecrozium Z for Unlocking Ultra Necrozma in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Currently, you can't get the Ultranecrozium Z to transform Necrozma into Ultra Necrozma in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The concept of Z-Moves, including the specific Z-Crystal needed for Ultra Necrozma, is limited to the Alola region games like Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. So, even if Necrozma returns in games like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet or The Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield, you can't trigger an Ultra Burst and access Ultra Necrozma.
However, you can still create Necrozma's other forms, Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings, in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. To do this, you'll need the N-Solarizer or N-Lunarizer, which can be obtained from the Port Marinada auction after successfully capturing Necrozma or transferring it to the Paldea region using Pokémon HOME. Unfortunately, unlocking the power of Ultra Necrozma is not possible in these newer games.
