Jamal Murray is a Canadian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on February 23, 1997, in Kitchener, Ontario, and represents the Canadian national team. Murray played one season of college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before he was drafted by the Nuggets in the first round, with the seventh overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft.
He wears the No. 27 jersey for the Nuggets and primarily plays as a point guard or shooting guard. Murray stands at 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) and weighs 215 lb (98 kg).
