Unfortunately, Quick is also out of action for the next three months after undergoing a nonsurgical procedure to repair a groin injury. The two-time Stanley Cup-winning goalie, who was injured during the season opener against San Jose on October 12, returned to the Kings lineup for a game against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday.

Although he had been skating with the team for a few weeks, Quick did not have any rehab starts in the minors. He previously won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2012 when he led the eighth-seeded Kings to their first Stanley Cup championship.
