The upcoming episode will continue the story from where the first season left off. Mei Mei and Aoi have recommended the first and second years for promotion to become first-grade sorcerers, so they will now undergo evaluation. They will work closely with other first-grade sorcerers who will assess if they are suitable for the promotion.
Aoi is upset because he can't evaluate the candidate, which means he won't get the chance to work with his "brother" Yuji. On the other hand, someone from Yuji's past, a girl who went to the same middle school, comes back to find him. She had faced bullying for being overweight, and Yuji stood up for her back then.
Years later, when she looks quite different, she seeks Yuji out, and he recognizes her immediately. Megumi and Nobara are also present, curious to see if Yuji will start dating her, but that doesn't happen. Additionally, in JuJuTsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6, a traitor from JuJuTsu High School in Kyoto, as feared by Gojo, will be revealed.

JuJuTsu Kaisen is an anime series adapted from Gege Akutami's manga. The second season, announced on February 12, 2022, premiered on July 6, 2023. It spans two continuous cours, covering the "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident" story arcs. The first arc is a prequel to JuJuTsu Kaisen 0 and focuses on Satoru Gojo's early days as a sorcerer, while the second arc shows Gojo as an adult and his students facing a massive Curse attack in Shibuya.
The season features different opening themes, with Tatsuya Kitani and Soushi Sakiyama contributing to the first five episodes and King Gnu taking over from the sixth episode onward. In 2006, Utahime Iori and Mei Mei investigate a haunted house and get trapped by a cursed spirit. Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieiri arrive to help. Later, they are tasked with protecting a girl named Riko Amanai, who is the vessel for Master Tengen's immortality. As they face various threats, they grow close to Riko and decide to protect her wishes.
However, they encounter the deadly Toji Zen'in, who gravely wounds Gojo and kills Riko. Geto seeks revenge but is defeated, and Gojo ultimately overpowers and seemingly kills Toji. A year later, Geto's conflicted feelings lead him to radical actions, resulting in his descent into darkness and becoming the leader of a cursed group. In the present, Gojo wakes up to meet his students, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara.
