The incident occurred at approximately 11:35 p.m. when the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Clearcreek Township emergency crews responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of State Route 48 and East Lytle Five Points Road.
Authorities have confirmed the identities of those involved in a fatal crash that took place in Warren County on Saturday night. According to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 11:30 p.m. Mary Huelsman, 57, was driving southbound on Ohio 48 in a Kia Telluride when her vehicle collided with an eastbound Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 20-year-old Michael Barch from Centerville.
Both cars veered off the right side of the road and collided with a utility pole. Tragically, the Chevrolet Malibu caught fire, and both Michael Barch and his passenger, 19-year-old Karys Seipel from Springboro, lost their lives in the ensuing blaze. Due to the severity of the burns, the bodies could not be immediately identified at the time of the incident.
