Last Epoch is a video game created by Eleventh Hour Games (EHG), falling under the genre of hack and slash action role-playing. The game's journey began with a free playable demo released in April 2018 as part of Last Epoch's Kickstarter campaign, allowing players to get a taste of the upcoming experience.
Moving forward, in April 2019, the game entered its beta phase and became accessible through Steam Early Access. Originally set for a full release in April 2020, Last Epoch faced a delay and was rescheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2020. In December 2020, Eleventh Hour Games shared that the release of Last Epoch was delayed until 2021. Last Epoch Druid Build
In Last Epoch, the Druid class offers a versatile playstyle with various transformations, each influencing gameplay and tactics. While focusing on one primary form, players can explore others or stay in human form for additional skills. Druids in Last Epoch share similarities with certain builds in Diablo 4. While most points are invested in Druid progression, valuable skills are found in the Primalist base class, incorporating moves like Swipe, Fury Leap, and Warcry.
Tank Primalist Traits:
For a tanky build, investing in Primalist Passives like Primal Strength, Hunter’s Restoration, Survival of the Pack, and more enhances survivability, making the Wearbear form one of the best tanks in Last Epoch. Collaboration with a Necromancer ally is recommended for additional protection.
Druid Traits:
Druid Passives contribute to the build's strength with allocations like Chitinous Plating, Primordial Resonance, Thicket of Thorns, and others. These passives improve damage, endurance, and provide additional benefits when transformed.
Beastmaster Traits:
While not essential, Beastmaster Passives like Ursine Strength, Savagery, Ambush, and more can be considered for added strength and damage reduction. Lamprey Teeth also enhances health leech for both the player and minions.
Persistent Wearbear Abilities:
Wearbear Druids gain exclusive skills, Rampage and Maul, which, when combined with Swipe and Warcry, create a formidable character. Primalist’s Fury Leap and Druid’s Entangling Roots complement the build, resembling the Juggernaut Aspect in Diablo 4.
Specialized Swipe Techniques:
Improving Swipe through specializations like Way of the Hunt, Wengarian Reach, and Sabertooth’s Endurance enhances damage, attack speed, and health leech, making it a potent skill in the build.
Warcry Expertise:
Enhancing Warcry with specializations such as Deep Roar, Battle Cry, and Purging Shout improves its area of effect, critical chance, and provides healing and removal of negative ailments.
Fury Leap Mastery:
Fury Leap can be customized with specializations like Crater, Savage Impact, and Panther Strike to increase impact area, damage, and cooldown reset, adding versatility to the build.
Entangling Roots Proficiency:
Entangling Roots, a crucial skill, can be specialized with Shredding Vines, Thick Growth, and Nectar of Rejuvenation to shred resistance, deal more damage, and provide healing and Haste. While Druids may not match the damage output of Rogues, they remain a top-class option in Last Epoch. Keeping Rage high is essential for the Wearbear form's survival, allowing other party members to eliminate foes with ease.
