Latin American Music Awards

The Latin American Music Awards, also known as the Latin AMAs, is a yearly music awards ceremony created by Dick Clark Productions, serving as the Spanish-language equivalent of the American Music Awards (AMAs). Like the AMAs, the winners of the Latin AMAs are chosen by a poll of the public and music purchasers and are produced by SOMOS Productions. The inaugural Latin AMAs was hosted by Lucero and premiered on October 8, 2015, on Telemundo. Unfortunately, the 2020 edition of the awards ceremony was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the event resumed a year later in 2021.
